Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Surflink — the web app at surflink.ai and the Surflink iPhone, Apple Watch, and Apple TV apps (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use Surflink on behalf of a surf school or club, you also agree on that organization's behalf.

• Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Coaches and organization owners control their roster and are responsible for having the right to upload and analyze the footage and athlete data they add.
• Athletes under 16 need a parent or guardian to accept an invitation before their account activates.

• Coach plans start with a 14-day free trial, no card required. After the trial, a paid subscription (billed through Stripe) is required for coach features; seats are billed per coach.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
• Coaching-session payments between athletes and coaches are also processed by Stripe.

You keep ownership of everything you upload — footage, notes, plans, and recordings. You grant Surflink the license needed to host, process, and display that content to the people you share it with, including running AI analysis (surfer detection, pose tracking, maneuver classification, coaching suggestions) on your footage. AI outputs are assistive: a coach's judgment, not the model, is the product of record.

• Only upload footage and data you have the right to use.
• No harassment or abuse in messaging and community surfaces.
• No attempts to break authentication, scrape other users' data, or resell the Service.

Watch metrics, wellness check-ins, and readiness scores are training aids, not medical advice. Surfing is inherently risky; decisions about whether and where to surf are yours (and your coach's), not Surflink's. Health data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.

You may delete your account at any time (iOS app → Profile → Account, or by email). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. On termination, the Privacy Policy's deletion rules apply.

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent the law allows, Surflink disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice before they take effect. Contact: admin@surflink.ai.
