Messaging

Surflink has real-time, two-way messaging between coaches and the people they work with.

Message a student

1. Open Messages (/messages).
2. The left pane lists your conversations; the right pane is the active thread.
3. To start a new thread, click New Message and pick a student.
4. Type in the composer and send. Enter sends; Shift+Enter adds a newline.

Messages update live, and read receipts are shown (a single check for sent, a double mint check once read).

A student can only receive messages once they've accepted an invite and have a login. See Inviting Athletes.
