Charging Athletes (Coaching Packages)

This is the marketplace side of billing -- where students pay you for coaching packages via Stripe. (For your own Surflink subscription and seats, see Plans, Seats & Billing.)

Open Billing (/billing).

Create a coaching package

1. Click New Package.
2. Enter the Package Name, Price (USD), Description, Sessions Included, and Duration (days).
3. Save. A package with a duration becomes a recurring subscription at checkout; without one it's a one-time payment.

The page also shows your Surflink Plan card (with View plans / Change plan / Manage billing) and revenue KPI cards, plus tabs for overview / packages / payments.

Charge a student

1. On the packages tab, make sure the package is active, then click Charge Student.
2. In the Charge for {package} modal, choose the athlete under Select Athlete.
3. Click Continue to Payment -- you're redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout.

When the student pays, Stripe notifies Surflink and a subscription and/or payment record is created automatically.

Manage subscriptions and payments

• The overview tab lists active student subscriptions; click Manage to open the Stripe Customer Portal for that subscription.
• The payments tab shows payment history with amounts and status badges.
