Getting Started (Athletes)

Welcome! As a student athlete you get your own view of Surflink to watch your sessions, read your coach's AI-powered feedback, track your progress, and message your coach. There are two ways to get an account.

Accept a coach's invite

1. Open the invite link your coach sent you (it looks like .../invite/<token>).
2. You'll see "Join Surflink" with your coach's name and your details.
3. Your Email is pre-filled. Choose a Create Password (at least 8 characters).
4. Click Create Account.
5. You'll see "Account Created!" and be taken to your dashboard.

If the link says it's invalid or already used, ask your coach to re-send it, or use Sign in if you've already created your account.

Self-enroll with a club link or QR code

If your coach shared a club QR code or link:

1. Scan the QR or open the link (.../club/<coach>). You'll see "Join {coach}".
2. Enter Your name (required), and optionally Email, Phone, and Age.
3. Click Join roster.
4. You'll see "You're on the roster!". If a profile link is offered, click Complete your profile to set a password and finish creating your account.

If you're under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to complete enrollment for you.

Signing in later

Go to /login, enter your email and password, and you'll be taken straight to your student dashboard. Forgot your password? Use Forgot password? on the login page.
